The Full Monty

The Full Monty

By Terrence McNally
Music & Lyrics by David Yazbek
Directed by Haskell Fitz-Simons

June 1 – 24, 2007

Stage: Cantey V. Sutton Theatre

Six smart guys out of work. What to do? Jerry is about to lose his son because he can’t pay for joint custody. His friend Dave is depressed and convinced his wife isn’t interested in their marriage anymore; Malcom has to take care of his mom and is suicidal; and Harold has been lying to his wife for six months about losing his job. After stumbling across a Chippendales dance club and seeing how many women are paying for it, they think, “We can do that!” They may not be young, they may not be pretty, they’re not very good, but they’re there, and for one night only, they’ve got nothing to lose! This musical comedy is one of a kind with uproarious laughter accompanied by great foot-tapping music – it’s also a bit risqué, but riotous. Contains adult language and situations.
